Dane Edwards is one of the greatest St Jago High School athlete (Class of 1986-1992) who dominated the ISSA Boys Championship during St Jago victory in 1987. He won the double in the 200 & 400m, breaking the record in the heats with a time of 50.24. He finishes 2^nd in the 100m and 3^rd in the 100m hurdles. Mr Edwards went on and won the class2 100m, 200m & 400m and 400x100m at the 1989 championship one of the only athlete to have achieved this record. Mr Edwards secured a scholarship to Manhattan College where he earned a degree in Accounting. Pecus as he’s well known, is an avid lover of music and during his school years and to this day, continue to play all genre of music as a hobby.
