Latest projects

ISSA have recently announce that the ISSA Grace Kennedy Boys & Girls Championship will proceed on March 22-27th with an alternative date in May pending the Covid-19 Pandemic position in Jamaica. St Jago will participating at these championships and has started to prepare the athletes in doing so. Unlike previous years, we need to ensure that athletes are not just prepare for participating in the events, but that they are safeguard from the risk of catching Covid-19. Whilst the team will be considerable smaller than previous years, we still need to provide facilities, equipment’s and adequate nutrition & hydration for each athlete and coaching staff. We are appealing for ALL past students to contribute to Our Champs 2021 Fund Raising Appeal

Our purpose is to make a tangible and sustainable change in the lives of students who attends St. Jago High School. This will be achieved through identifying projects that are not currently being delivered or those that might need assistance in developing such projects.

Our History

St Jago High School (formerly Beckford & Smith) in Spanish Town, St Catherine, Jamaica, founded in 1744, is one of the oldest, continuously operated schools in the Western Hemisphere. It is renowned for graduating some of Jamaica senior military
officers, world class cricketers, academic scholars, performing artists, and Olympic athletes. The Principal at St Jago High School is currently Collette Feurtado-Pryce, who was appointed to the position in January 2016. The Senior Vice Principal at St Jago High
School is Mrs Antoinette Wright-Dallen and the Junior Vice Principal is Mrs. Careen James-Barnett.
